Kendal’s communities are being encouraged to join Kendal Town Council, Waste into Wellbeing and Stricklandgate House to help the trio create a ‘sustainability hub’ at Stricklandgate House. The hub plans to build on the existing brilliant Waste into Wellbeing initiative and bring the Kendal People’s Café under one roof.

Join us to help shape what the hub will be called, how it will look and feel and define its purpose – tea and cake provided!

This initiative is a result of the towns Climate Change Citizens Jury Recommendation to make access to climate action and solutions easy, creating a ‘one stop shop’ of community led action. Read more Jury update actions here.
