Kendal Town Council have commissioned an audit of the solar potential of Kendal.

The audit utilises an algorithm developed by Lancaster University and will show which roofs in Kendal provide the greatest solar production across the town.

Kendal Town Council, together with the Citizens Jury Recommendations Panel, will use the audit data to encourage more homes and businesses to install solar by developing incentives such as bulk buying and co-operative approaches.
